On July 9, Trey Anastasio carried over the energy from his recent Peach performance with Oysterhead to play a special ‘Rubber Jungle LIVE’ set for Sirius XM’s Phish Radio.

This was the third edition in the series, which Anastasio records in his New York City apartment – the previous versions of Rubber Jungle LIVE aired on May 14 and June 11.

For this outing, Anastasio remained solo, opening with the rallying “Set Your Soul Free” as well as “Down with Disease,” a longstanding tune that is all too easy to recategorize as a pandemic anthem.

A stand-alone version of “Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan” arrived before Anastasio found his groove in a two-part “Wading in the Velvet Sea”> “Sunset Days” jam.

Next came “Cavern,” “Alaska,” “Wilson,” “Maze” and “Theme from the Bottom.”

“Kill Devil Falls” encouraged listeners to “soak up nature” in these summer months, before a “Blaze On” finale.
