John Mayer made a cameo on The Late Show on July 1, adding his guitar to his pal JP Saxe’s emotive original “Here’s Hopin'”

Saxe appeared on the show to promote his album Dangerous Moments of Introspection, which was released in June. Mayer appears on the studio version of “Here’s Hopin'”
