Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band have announced they will be putting on shows at their namesake venue, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA for this year’s Fourth of July celebrations.
Keyboardist Adam MacDougall of The Black Crowes, Circles Around The Sun, and Furslide fame is slated as a special guest, who will be playing with Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band all weekend.
Music will start flowing on Friday, July 2, with an opening set featuring Ross James. A new special guest will be joining Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band each day. Saturday will have an opening set from Alex Koford & The Wise Owls. On Independence day, Sunday, Midnight North will open for the Family Band, and no doubt fireworks will close.

June 28, 2021 at 3:49 pmI’m surprised you didn’t cover this past Saturday’s show with Phil, Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Jason Crosby and Jay Lane. Their amazing, slowed down version of the classic “Louie Louie” closed the show. The same band minus Jason played yesterday with Lebo joining in on guitar and pedal steel.
Everyone loved seeing mask less friends faces. It was like a big family reunion.
