After sit-ins in Nashville, Asheville and Charleston, Phil Lesh has all but confirmed that he’s on tour with Midnight North on June 9, joining the band once more at Pennsylvania’s Ardmore Music Hall.

Phil jammed with the band – including his son, guitarist Grahame Lesh – for the tail-end of the show, adding his bass to the band’s “Wind & Roses” as well as the Grateful Dead’s “Jack Straw.”

However, unlike Phil’s previous jams with Midnight North, the Ardmore show had an additional collaborative flair with American Babies guitarist Justin Mazer sitting in for the entire performance.

Al Smith also jammed keys on set two’s “Only Children” and “Sway.”
