Music innovator Herbie Hancock is hitting the road in 2021, playing a number of shows through the Western U.S., including stops in Texas, Colorado, Montana, Washington, Oregon and California.
After a Sept. 4 stop at the Detroit Jazz Festival, Hancock will headline shows starting on Sept. 12 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He will then continue West, ending his string of shows on Sept. 26 at LA’s Hollywood Bowl.
“It’s time for me to get back out there and do what I love to do,” Hancock said alongside the announcement. “We will be safe and we will be careful, but it’s time to reconnect with our fans, play live music and have some fun after a long period of isolation. It’s time to spread a little joy.”
