On July 30, Jim Lauderdale will release his 34th studio album, Hope.

According to the storied musiciam, the new LP “speaks to these times we were going through” and even includes his final collaboration with Robert Hunter, a track called “Memory.”

“Losing Robert just before the pandemic was so hard,” Lauderdale said via press release, “but he left the perfect lyric, to sum up my feelings about him and to honor all the people we’ve lost since.”
