On May 7, Phil Lesh performed the first of three ‘Family Reunion’ live shows at his Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, Calif. The show (and the following two) featured the full lineup of Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, the first live show with the full lineup since 2019. Lesh’s son Grahame, Ross James, Jason Crosby and Alex Koford make up the band.
While the members of the band have played with Lesh in various permutations during the pandemic, the full lineup of TFB had not been assembled with the Grateful Dead bassist since 2019; even prior to the pandemic, Lesh’s health had caused for some touring adjustments.
The show kicked off with “Casey Jones,” followed by “Big Railroad Blues.” Lesh then led the band through a pairing of “Jack Straw” and Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone.” Later in the set, the band performed a cover of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Almost Cut My Hair.” After a chugging “Truckin'” which gave way to “Bird Song,” the band closed out the evening.
The band returns to the stage tonight, May 8. Check out the full setlist from last night’s show below.

May 11, 2021 at 8:10 pmBoys, boys, boys,…Cody, this isn’t about you and you should best stick to your on backyard. I suppose this is the only way for you to get any attention. Read a book or something …if you still can.
I personally would of liked being at this show, especially since a long layoff of shows.

May 10, 2021 at 12:32 pmIm glad you can rekindle your ancient memories of when Phil was still moderately interesting. Check out those Billy and The Kids shows that’s the best dead side project since the Q. My liver aches when I see his useless sons.

May 10, 2021 at 9:02 amDone for YOU? Yeah Phil put no effort in through the years? I see no credit listed to YOU for the numerous Phil shows of the last 25+ years. Talentless? An opinion and every A-hole, including me, has one. Did the show sell out? Guess many see it differently from YOU. Phil is how old? There will be no long tours with well known musicians. Once in a while one may show up for a show or two at Phil’s place. Most will be headed out on longer tours as the virus plague goes into the background looking to make up for lack of money the last year+. Good health Phil, brought me 50+ years of pleasure.
