The Revivalists’ David Shaw has officially released the music video for his new single “Got Me Feeling Good” off his self-titled debut album, which is set to drop May 7 via Yokoko Records.

Shaw aims to shine a light of positivity against a backdrop of tough times with the video for “Got Me Feeling Good.” The Laine Kelly-directed video was shot in Shaw’s home city of New Orleans, and showcases his passion for roller skating.

“If I wasn’t pushing a skateboard around or playing guitar as a 14-year-old, I was in my skates, and over this past year I had a lot more time on my mind so I got the itch to get back into it. As I was doing so, it really reinvigorated my love for the art,” said Shaw in a press release. The idea for the video sprouted after Shaw ran into old friend and skating professional Bobby Bonsey while taking a leisurely skate; the video features the skating prowess of both Bonsey and Javan “Slick Twist” Hawthorne.

Shaw has also announced a series of livestreams via the virtual concert platform Mandolin. The upcoming shows will kick off May 7th and take place every Friday at 9 p.m. ET. See the complete list of shows below; Shaw’s May 21st performance in his hometown of Hamilton, OH will allow a limited in-person audience.
