Following the May 7 release of a new double-album titled Latest Record Project: Volume 1,the legendary Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison will perform his very first virtual concert. The first pay-per-view show is scheduled for May 8 at 3 p.m. ET via

The concert is set to take place at the famed Real World Studios in the village of Box, Wiltshire, England. Morrison plans to debut new songs and perform his biggest hits as well. Fans can find ticketing information on Van Morrison’s website.

The news of this special first-time livestream concert comes months after Van Morrison shared his anti-lockdown opinions and displeasure with the UK government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. He wrote multiple tracks opposing the restrictions put in place to keep the public safe from coronavirus, including “No More Lockdown,” “Born To Be Free” and “As I Walked Out.”
