Over the weekend (Apr. 2 and 3), the Disco Biscuits performed two shows at The Caverns’ outdoor performance space in Pelham, Tenn.

Both nights featured the Biscuits’ signature setlist craftsmanship, with the band expertly navigating through their expansive catalog. On Apr. 2, the band kicked off with “I Remember When.” Later, they performed just the final section of “Save the Robots” before closing the set with “42.”

However, “Save the Robots” then returned to open the second set, during which the band never came to a complete stop. They moved between “Robots” and an inverted “Morph Dusseldorf” and back again, and then closed the set with a pairing of “Ganster” and “Digital Buddha,” sans intro. The acronym-named “M.E.M.P.H.I.S.” closed the show as the encore.

Apr. 3 show kicked off with “Story of the World,” which morphed into “Abraxas” before returning to the final section. To open the second set, the band dusted off “¿Donde?;” it was last performed on Dec. 30, 2016, over 100 shows ago (129, to be exact). Later in the set, the band jammed on a theme reminiscent of Miles Davis’ “So What,” before moving into “Down to the Bottom.” “Portal to an Empty Head” finished up the run.

“Tennessee: thank you for an amazing weekend!” wrote the band in an Instagram post after the run (see below). “The Biscuits are back!”
