Dark Star Orchestra are eyeing next year for a much-needed vacation, booking their ninth ‘Jam In The Sand’ destination event for Jan. 11-15, 2022 at the Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica.
Reads an official description, “Jam in the Sand allows fans to spend days on the beach enjoying everything the all-inclusive resort has to offer, featuring stunning ocean views, landscaped gardens and pools scattered throughout the property. The festival is taking all necessary precautions for safely gathering amidst a changing COVID-19 landscape.”
Melvin Seals & JGB will also join the festivities, with former DSO guitarist John Kadlecik in tow.
Additionally, the multi-day event will see guitarist Rob Eaton return to the stage, following an extensive wrist/arm injury.
Pre-sales will kick off on March 29 (for anyone who attended Jam in the Sand 8 in 2020) and March 30 (for anyone attended any previous Jam in the Sand events.
General onsale will begin March 31 at 10 a.m. ET.
