Greensky Bluegrass has announced that their Camp Greensky Music Festival has been postponed to June 2-4, 2022. The festival will not occur in 2021 due out COVID-19 concerns.
“We were patient and hopeful that we could make some magic happen this June but it’s just not in the cards to present the festival we all know and love in the current circumstances,” wrote the band in a statement. “We’re grateful for all of your understanding and patience as we all work towards some kind of ‘new normal.”
While the festival proper is cancelled, Greensky Bluegrass did allude to a future performance at in their home state of Michigan, where Camp Greensky takes place.
“This is the longest window we’ve spent since becoming a band without performing in our home state and, while it won’t be Camp Greensky, we’re excited to be working with our friends at Hoxeyville Productions to find a way to play some music for you later this summer, stay tuned!” they wrote.
