Austin City Limits is hopeful that they will be able to host an in-person festival this coming October. The festival has announced dates for the two-weekend long event: Oct. 1-3 and 8-10, 2021. The festival will return to Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.
“We can’t wait to see you Oct. 1-3 & 8-10, 2021 back in Zilker Park,” read a statement on the festival’s website. “Until then, stay safe, [and] take care of each other.”
2020’s in-person festival was canceled due to COVID-19. The organizers eventually pivoted to a virtual broadcast, which occurred on Oct. 9-11, 2020. It featured streams of past sets at ACL, including performers such as Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Phish, Willie Nelson and more.
The 2021 ACL will mark the 20th anniversary of the event.

March 2, 2021 at 10:14 amJust knowing a possibility means something. As if music festivals are not announced before a lineup is signed. Gee I book tickets to a festival long before any acts were announced. They called it Woodstock.
