Since Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s annual Domefest Festival has been put on ice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Baltimore band has pivoted to Domefest: Party In The Pods, a socially distanced, two-night, limited camping event on May 21-22, 2021 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.
Explains frontman Greg Ormont, “Obviously we’ve been keeping a close eye on the pandemic and vaccine as it relates to live events. Domefest always kicks off our summer with a bang, and we think this year’s Party In The Pods will be the best way for our fans to get together and cut loose in the safest way possible. I can’t describe how excited we are to finally play in front of The Flock again.”
Pods are described as “eight feet by eight feet with a six-foot buffer on each side and can hold between two and five attendees.”
For tickets (which go on sale Friday, February 26 at 10am ET) and more info click here.

February 24, 2021 at 6:25 pmI feel real sorry for anyone posting negative comments about ANY BAND willing to put on live music, anywhere. But, thankfully that will be more tickets for the ones who are ready.

Reading is Tough
February 25, 2021 at 6:30 pmJust because people dont want to surround themselves with someone so negative is not the BANDS FAULT, nor the venue.. if you actually read the post, it clearly states the pods are for more than 1 person..

February 27, 2021 at 11:15 amHow ironic that your name is “reading is tough”, but you have zero reading comprehension. I didn’t ascribe fault to anyone– PPPP is the last tour I was on before everything got canceled. I have no comment on the venue because I mostly stay in nice parts of the country, which are far west of Ohio.
That doesn’t make this stupid fucking idea any better… “It clearly states [they] are for more than one person”…. Great, so I can go to the show with the 2 people in my car? Thanks for the permission! What a joke.
Hopefully you can meet someone you don’t already know at a show sometime– it’s cool to develop new friendships!
