The Rock and Roll Playhouse has announced that it will host its traditional family Phish Purim Party later this week. Due to the global pandemic, the fourth-annual event will be held virtually this year, but once again finds Uncle Ebenezer and Rabbi Daniel Brenner celebrating the Jewish holiday by retelling the story of Esther through the lens of Phish’s music.

The children’s’ program will debut this Thursday, Feb. 25 at Noon on the Rock and Roll Playhouse’s socials and can be viewed for free throughout the weekend. Designed for kids and their music-loving parents, the Purim party will feature a mix of animated storytelling, live music and a short, traditional Megillah reading.

Uncle Ebenezer have been a staple at The Rock and Roll Playhouse events while Rabbi Brenner has lead High Holiday services at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl for years.
