Pioneering electronic music duo Daft Punk have announced that they have split up. On Feb. 22, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter shared a video titled “Epilogue,” which shows the two parting ways and features text reading “1993-2021.” The group’s publicist, Kathryn Frazier, confirmed the news to Pitchfork, but added no further comment on their reasoning.

The band last performed live at the 2017 Grammy Awards, but hadn’t toured properly since their legendary Alive 2006/2007 tour. The band released four studios albums over the course of their career, the most recent being the smash hit Random Access Memories in 2013, which at the time was their first record in eight years.

The new video was posted with no description or other comment. It depicts the two members of Daft Punk walking through a desert. One begins to slow down; when the other returns, he presses a button that triggers self-destruction. After the member explodes, “1993-2021” comes on screen beneath the group’s logo.
