For their newest video deep-dive, Widespread Panic are looking back at their 2000 performance of “Imitation Leather Shoes” at Alabama’s Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.
The rocking performance opened the show, which also included a memorable two-part encore of “Wish You Were Here” and “Flat Foot Flewzy.”
Other recent archival WSP finds include the band’s 1995 performance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and their 1998 appearance on CNN.

February 22, 2021 at 3:52 pmI went to that run. Had tickets to Friday and Sunday but no Saturday and couldn’t run one down. Was walking back to my truck to regroup, found a ticket on the ground, got in, found my people, and had a BLAST. Sometimes it just works out.
