After their first ‘Wrapped Around Nashville’ show went off without a hitch, Umphrey’s McGee returned on Feb. 5 for night two of their livestream run at drummer Kris Myers’ Nashville home studio. During the second set, the band began to experience internet troubles, causing for the stream to cut out at multiple points.

Eventually, the band determined that resuming the stream would be impossible. However, keeping with the band’s penchant for ensuring they deliver the goods to fans, they then announced on social media that they would finish the show on their own and make it available for replay “as soon as humanly possible.”

“Sorry for the internet turd burger this evening. Four days of flawless, stable testing but alas, it happens,” read a tweet on the band’s official account after the stream. “Band is finishing the last tune now (get those set list bets in), we’ll begin working on a clean replay & resolving the connectivity issues for tomorrow.”

The first set, which did not suffer from technical difficulties, featured fan-favorites such as “In the Kitchen,” “Wife Soup” and “FF.” During set two, after an opening “Hurt Bird Bath,” the stream cut out. Once the band returned, the performed “Stinko’s Ascension” and “Booth Love,” and began “The Crooked One” before the stream once again cut out. According to a post on the band’s Twitter account (see below), the band performed a lengthy jam (known as a “Jazz Odyssey”) out of “The Crooked One” before closing the show with “Dump City.”

The band returns with the final night of their ‘Wrapped Around Nashville’ stream tonight, Feb. 6. Check out the setlist from last night’s show below.
