Death Cab for Cutie traded in their typical indie stylings for a 90s R&B classic this week on Kimmel, covering TLC’s beloved “Waterfalls.”

Previously, Death Cab recorded the track for The Georgia EP, a fundraising release where the band covered tunes by Georgia-bred artists, such as “Fall On Me” by R.E.M., “Flirted With You All My Life” by Vic Chesnutt and “Metal Heart” by Cat Power.

The initial December 2020 release the EP raised $100,000 for the state’s Fair Fight Action organization, and the band dedicated it to “Stacey Abrams and all the hardworking people at Fair Fight.”
