Neil Young is looking back on his years with Crazy Horse by revisiting a previously-unreleased 1990 show in a new live concert film/album dubbed Way Down In The Rust Bucket.
The release will showcase Crazy’s Horse’s Nov. 13, 1990 stop at the Santa Cruz, Calif. club the Catalyst.
Young was backed by Crazy Horse bandmates Frank Sampedro, Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina for this outing, and the three-set show contained the live debut of “Danger Bird” off 1975’s Zuma, among other fiery offerings.
Get your hands on Way Down In The Rust Bucket on Feb. 26.

January 18, 2021 at 2:31 pmFor people familiar with the Dead and Neil, there is only one way to describe this show. This is Neil’s 5-8-77. If he ever did a better show, I haven’t heard about it.
