“I’ve been waiting on a war since I was young/ Since I was a little boy with a toy gun,” Dave Grohl sings in Foo Fighters’ new, anthemic single “Waiting On A War.”
The track will appear on the band’s 10th studio project Medicine at Midnight, out Feb. 5, 2021.
As Grohl recently revealed to Los Angeles’ ALT 98.7 FM – the new album is akin to David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, “filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs. It’s kind of like a dance record, but not an EDM, disco, modern dance record. It’s got groove.”
