On Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9 p.m. ET, Freaks Action Network will host their first ‘Freaks Night In!’ event of 2021. The evening will consist of a live listening party of Benevento/Russo Duo’s 2005 record Best Reason to Buy the Sun. Marco Benevento and Joe Russo themselves will join the event to provide track-by-track commentary and participate in a conversation about the album.

“It’s always a good time to revisit the record that made this duo The Duo and a special treat to have Joe & Marco join us with their insights and banter,” wrote Freaks Action Network in the event’s description. “If you have any questions for the guys, let us know and maybe we’ll get to them on Thursday.”

The event will be raising funds for the FAN’s Musicians Relief Fund. “To date, the Fund has awarded $50,000 in grants to NYC musicians to make up for lost revenue during the pandemic and with your help, we can keep it going,” read the description.
