Groove trio Soulive have announced two new vinyl releases, put out through Vintage League Music. The band will share Get Down – 21st Birthday Edition, the first ever vinyl treatment of their debut release, and Soulive 1999 – Gettin Down At Hampshire College, a never-before-heard live album. Both vinyl releases are limited to 500 editions.

When announcing the albums, drummer Alan Evans shared some words about both releases. “Available on vinyl for the first time, our debut release from 1999 has been remixed and remastered by yours truly,” he wrote of Get Down. “It has a never before heard bonus track and new liner notes written by Kraz and myself.”

“And if that wasn’t enough, also being released on vinyl is the never before heard ‘Soulive 1999 – Gettin Down At Hampshire College’, a live album recorded May 2nd 1999,” the drummer said of Soulive 1999. “Also mixed / mastered in 2020 by yours truly at Iron Wax Studios. This album includes some killing extended live renditions of some classic tracks from that era. Neal, Kraz and I really can’t wait for you all to check these albums out!! Much love.”
