Margo Price is ringing in the month of December with her version of Joni Mitchell’s “River,” a cover she originally debuted live this fall at the Village of Love benefit for Planned Parenthood.
“Songs are like tattoos, ‘River’ by Joni Mitchell is one of mine,” the Nashville musician wrote on Dec. 1, alongside the new clip. “I recorded a version, just me on the piano and it’s out on all platforms today.”
In addition to releasing her third LP That’s How Rumors Get Started earlier this year, Price will celebrate the premiere of her new concert film Perfectly Imperfect at The Ryman on Dec. 2 with a drive-in event at Tennessee’s Stardust Drive-In Theatre.
