Fans have recently dug up a memorable performance by ’90s jam scene favorites God Street Wine, as the group performed their tune “RU 4 Real” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

The 1996, single song offering acted as the band’s national television debut, and GSW used the opportunity to promote their LP Red which came out the same year. Guests on this edition of Late Night included actor Tony Danza and publisher Steve Forbes.

In 2019, God Street Wine reunited for their first album in over two decades, This Fine Town.

“We had been playing full time for over five years before we got signed in 1994,” singer-guitarist Lo Faber told Relix at the time. “At that point, we probably had about 70-75 originals, and over half of them never ended up on an album.”
