Last week, The Flaming Lips announced a Space Bubble live concert at The Criterion in Oklahoma City, Okla., set for Dec. 11. With the first show show selling out “within minutes of the announcement” (according to a press release), the band scheduled a second show at the venue for Dec. 10.

“This will be a full-production live Lips extravaganza,” read a press release for the event. However, the band also stressed that social-distancing guidelines would be strictly followed: “Local health and safety standards will be strictly observed.”

The band previously hosted a test run for the show at the same venue, during which they performed “Brother Eye” from their new record American Head. The Lips have shared a video of that performance to whet fans’ palettes before the December show. Watch the video below!

Tickets to the newly added show are on sale now. To purchase, head to criterionokc.com.

Wayne Coyne shared a video on band’s YouTube page in which he answered questions about the show and the ‘Space Bubbles.’ Watch it below!
