With a dash of nostalgia, Widespread Panic are looking back on the era of 45s by treating fans to a new “Digital Split-Single.”

The hybrid studio/live release features “Sundown Betty” – recorded at John Keane Studios in the band’s hometown of Athens, Ga. – and “I Swear It Wasn’t Me” – captured at the band’s 2015 Panic en la Playa event.

“As you can tell I’m a bit nostalgic,” frontman John Bell explains in a new announcement video, recalling the days of 75-cent 45s. “…This October 30 in honor of Halloween and our music and in honor of nostalgia we’re going to drop a virtual 45 with ‘Sundown Betty’ on the A and ‘I Swear It Wasn’t Me’ on the B.”
