On Oct. 9, Umphrey’s McGee began their two-night drive-in stand at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga. The run of shows marked the band’s final shows of 2020. The band has released a pro-shot video of “Nothing Too Fancy” > “Comma Later” > “Nothing Too Fancy” from the show.

The show began with a pairing of “Le Blitz” and “Educated Guess.” After a standalone performance of “Andy’s Last Beer,” UM delivered a set-stopping sequence of the aforementioned “Nothing Too Fancy” > “Comma Later” > “Nothing Too Fancy.” But they didn’t stop there; the band then dropped into another trio of songs, “Cemetery Walk” > “Whistle Kids,” and then a full segue into “Utopian Fir.” During “Utopian Fir,” the band teased and jammed on Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love,” nodding to guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s recent passing.

To open the second set, Umphrey’s opted for “Miss Tinkle’s Overture,” followed by “2×2.” They then delivered another slick segue between “Ringo” and “Kimble.” The set closed with a pairing of “Similar Skin” and “In The Kitchen.” “The Weight Around” and “The Silent Type” made up the show’s encore.

The band aired the first-set opener “Le Blitz” on their Facebook page; watch it here. Check out the full setlist (via allthings.umphreys) below!
