Trey Anastasio will play his first of eight crowdless shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Oct. 9.
Today, the Phish guitarist has announced that SiriusXM will broadcast that initial performance live on channel 29, aka Phish Radio.
“When we thought about playing the Beacon, I was reminded of the meaning of the word,” Anastasio previously said of the run, which will also be streamed for free via Twitch. “A beacon is a beam of light, often from a lighthouse, which sends it out to sailors who are lost at sea and all alone. They look for the beacon and it guides them home.”
Tune in to the run every Friday between Oct. 9 and Nov. 27 on Twitch.tv/TreyAnastasio.

October 5, 2020 at 4:31 pmPlease start the show at a decent hour. If you watch Morning Joe, there’s no way you’re still up at 10pm. Just saying.
