Indie rocker Phoebe Bridgers has expanded her career to include her own record label, dubbed Saddest Factory.

“The vision of the label is simple: good songs, regardless of genre,” she explained via press release. Bridgers is set to announce the label’s first signee in the near future, and she’s currently accepting demoes for prospective acts.

As for her own career, Bridgers recently shared her second studio LP – the acclaimed Punisher – and collaborated with the likes of Conor Oberst in their shared Better Oblivion Community Center project, as well as Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus in boygenius.

Saddest Factory finds Bridgers embracing her role as CEO, and using a tongue-in-cheek corporate aesthetic for the company.
