On Sept. 2, Umphrey’s McGee performed the first of their two ‘Wrapped In The Round’ livestream shows from a production warehouse in Illinois. The band since shared a pro-shot video of their performance of “Partyin’ Peeps,” which occurred in the final section of the set.
“We should do ‘Peeps,’ right?” said guitarist Brendan Bayliss as he sipped from a glass of red wine. The band then launched into the reggae-tinged number.
Elsewhere in the show, Umphrey’s worked through fan “StewArt” suggestions, such as “Fripp It and Rip It” and “Baby Making Music.” The next night, they busted out a cover of Yes’ “Roundabout,” which was fitting as they were performing in the round.
Check out the video of “Partyin’ Peeps” below, as well as the night’s full setlist.
