Yo La Tengo have announced a pair of shows at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). The shows are set for Aug. 7 and 8, and they will be performed outdoors and socially distant, in accordance with Massachusetts’ Phase 3 reopening guidelines.

“MASS MoCA favorites Yo La Tengo — one of the most celebrated and adventurous bands in rock history — returns,” wrote the museum in an announcement. “YLT’s dynamic range touches on pure noise, serene beauty, and everything in between. Each show will feature an acoustic set crafted for the MASS MoCA audience, with songs from across the band’s more than 35 years of glorious sound.”

The museum has laid out the safety precautions for the show on their website; for more information, click here.
