Photographer Michael Weintrob has announced a new streaming series, dubbed ‘Instrumenthead Live’. According to a press release, “the series comes in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to provide safe, premium concerts to music lovers everywhere.” Members of Umphrey’s McGeen, Trey Anastasio Band, Dave Matthews Band, Fruition and many more will participate in the series.

“I have been fortunate to share space, through my photography, with many musicians around the world. This pandemic has affected us all, in one way or another,” said Weintrob in a press release. This new series is our opportunity to create a safe and fun environment in my Nashville studio for everyone to enjoy high quality audio and video in a unique gallery where the art is curated specifically for the artist performing. We are empowering live art.”

The new series will debut on Aug. 6 with a broadcast of ‘Music With Five Questions.’ The inaugural broadcast will feature Jen Hartswick of TAB, Jeff Coffin of DMB and Kris Myers of Umphrey’s McGee. Other entries will see guitarist Daniel Donato celebrate the release of A Young Man’s Country and Mimi Naja of Fruition perform with Royal Masat, Lindsay Lou and Kyle Tuttle.
