On Thursday, July 30, FANS will broadcast “Touch And Go,” A Memorial Service for the late Gordon Stone.

Stone passed in mid-July and he was known by many in the jam world for his collaborations with the likes of Phish, moe., Strangefolk and Max Creek. He was a graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music, released a total of six studio albums through his career and can be heard on multiple Phish records, including A Picture of Nectar‘s “Poor Heart” and Rift‘s “Fast Enough for You.”

The event will “feature words and performances by members of Gordon’s musical family from Burlington, VT and beyond.” It will also coincide with the release of the new LP The Music of Gordon Stone: A Retrospective Anthology.
