Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has announced that this Saturday, July 25, the festival will present a livestream performance and Q&A event featuring Los Lobos. According to a press release, the band has “a rich history with Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, having played the festival in 2007, 2013, 2015 and 2018.” The livestream will begin at 4 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. ET.
“After months of lockdown, Los Lobos is honored and happy to report we will be doing our first show all together again for our friends at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass,” said saxophonist Steve Berlin via press release. “We have a special relationship with HSB going back decades and many epic shows, so we are really looking forward to getting back on stage together and ushering in the festival’s 20th anniversary.”
The stream will be hosted by Bonnie Simmons, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass’ artist relations manager. The band will perform live as well as answer questions from fans. According to a press release, “fans can sign up to be a part of the interactive portion of the Live Stream, where Los Lobos will be taking questions and talking to fans.” To sign up, click here.
