After it seemed that its summer concert schedule was completely scrapped, the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre will host a short run of concerts by The Colorado Symphony.
The “Acoustic on the Rocks” series will take place from July 29 to Aug. 2, with 20 musicians performing unplugged compositions by Mozart, Tchaikovsky and George Walker.
“We’re committed to sharing our art with people during a difficult time,” Anthony Pierce of the Colorado Symphony told The Denver Post. “It’s an organic, natural, outdoor experience. It’s so unique. And it’s the beautiful backdrop of the city, the sunset. It’s going to be incredible.”
Tickets are on sale now via AXS.com.
