Australian psych-rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have released a new song, “Honey”, along with an accompanying music video.

The song is the prolific band’s first release since their live album Chunky Shrapnel, which came out alongside the concert film of the same name. “Honey” features microtonal instruments, a callback to Gizz’s 2017 album Flying Microtonal Banana. However, in the video, frontman Stu Mackenzie can be seen playing what seems to be a new guitar: a modified acoustic guitar, with frets that can achieve the aforementioned microtones.

King Gizzard were set to play two of their biggest shows to date this summer, headlining two nights at Red Rocks. Unfortunately, those were postponed due to coronavirus.
