On July 4, Rodrigo y Gabriela released a cover of Lil Nas X’s hit “Old Town Road.”

“As we understand it, the meaning of the lyrics in the original track by Lil Nas X are a message of perseverance through loneliness and also a new beginning,” the duo wrote in the video’s description. “We both really enjoy this hit so we decided to give it a go in our style while also adapting the message a little bit.”
