On July 4, CNN will air ‘The Fourth In America’, a primetime special “celebrating the rich diversity of the people who helped build the United States, all while facing the battle against a global pandemic and the continued fight for racial justice.” (Quote via press release.) The special will include performances by Carlos and Cindy Santan, Don McLean, CeCe Winans and many more.

“With many traditional Fourth of July events canceled across the country, CNN’S ‘The Fourth In America’ will showcase musical performances from U.S. military bands, iconic singers, Broadway performers, and feature firework shows in multiple U.S. cities,” read a press release.

In addition to the aforementioned performers, the special will see appearances by Andy Grammar, Barry Manilow, Burt Bacharach & Berklee College of Music Musicians, Kenny Logins, Pat Benetar, Jewel and many more.

The special will run from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET on July 4. In addition to airing on CNN, it will also be streamed live for subscribers of CNN.com, as well as the CNN mobile apps.
