For the first installment of his new “Friends From Home” video series, The String Cheese Incident’s Jason Hann has shared a cover of Paul Simon’s “St. Judy’s Comet.”
The There Goes Rhymin’ Simon cut also features vocals/guitar work by Brian Chapman, synth from Matt Rohde and bass from Greg Hyatt.
“Paul Simon is, of course, one of the legendary songwriters,” Hann wrote alongside the cover. “When we thought about doing this song, it turns out that this is mine and Brian’s favorite Paul Simon song. The imagery and the idea that, no matter how big of an artist that you get to be, what good is it if doesn’t comfort your child to sleep at night. Ultimate parent goals.”
