On June 19, Neil Young will finally share Homegrown, a forlorn 1975 album featuring 12 tracks and guests like Levon Helm, Karl T Himmel, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Harris and more.

Recently, the rock legend shared his second cut off the highly-anticipated LP, the southern-rock infused “Vacancy.”

“Who are you?/ Where are you going to?/ I look in your eyes and I don’t know what’s there/ You poison me with that long, vacant stare,” Young laments over the four-minute release.

The first taste of Homegrown arrived in May with “Try,” and as Young explained in a lengthy message, the album is “the sad side of a love affair. The damage done. The heartache… I wanted to move on. So I kept it to myself, hidden away in the vault, on the shelf, in the back of my mind… but I should have shared it. It’s actually beautiful.”

While some tracks on the album – “Love Is A Rose,” “Homegrown,” “White Line,” “Little Wing,” and “Star Of Bethlehem” – all resurfaced on other releases, the rest of Homegrown features never-before-heard compositions dating back to the time between Young’s opus Harvest and Comes A Time.
