For this week’s edition of their One More Saturday Night series, Dead & Company will broadcast their July 1, 2017 show at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. The show marked the band’s 2017 summer tour closer, and it concluded with a celebratory fireworks display. In addition, Dead & Co.’s two-night stand at the legendary baseball stadium set the venue record for most paid tickets for a single concert ever.

The band has also called for fans to donate to the ACLU in response to the ongoing protests against police brutality. “As we continue to stand with the black community against all forms of racism, bigotry and violence, we ask that you consider joining us in donating to the ACLU here: https://bit.ly/3cxbPa5,” wrote the band in their social media post announcing the broadcast.

The show itself saw Dead & Co. play many Grateful Dead staples, including “Dark Star” and “Althea” in the first set and “Playing in the Band” and “Scarlet Begonias” > “Fire on the Mountain” in set two.
