For NPR’s ongoing remote “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” series, Clem Snide – aka singer-songwriter Eef Barzelay – recently enlisted Seth Avett of The Avett Brothers for a stripped-down set.
In what appears to be a rural woodshed (complete with a crowing rooster), the duo take on a quartet of Snide originals, namely “The Stuff of Us,” “Jews For Jesus,” “Blues Some Ghost” and “Roger Ebert.” The selections come off Snide’s latest album, Forever Just Beyond, which Avett produced himself.
