Live From Out There, the virtual festival, has announced the lineup for their second season: a four-week, pay-per-view and subscription series, presented by the 11E1even Group. For this season, the festival will partner with LivexLive to broadcast the shows, which will be a mixture of livestreamed performances and archival broadcasts. The series will run from May 15 to June 7. The final weekend of the festival will be a celebration of the music of David Bowie.
According to a press release, “the lineup includes Big Gigantic, Dispatch, Zeds Dead, moe., Nahko, Umphrey’s McGee, STS9, Turquaz, Hiss Golden Messenger, Twiddle, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Goose, James Petralli & Michael Hunter of White Denim, Zach Williams of The Lone Bellow, Motet and many more.”
For the second weekend of the series (May 22-24), Live From Out There is partnering with the Summer Camp Music Festival to broadcast their 20 Year Retrospective Virtual Festival, which will feature archival sets from Umphrey’s McGee, moe., Oteil Burbridge and many more.
The final weekend, June 5-7, will consist of a celebration of David Bowie, featuring artists such as Dispatch, Twiddle, Ripe, Cory Wong, members of White Denim and many more.
According to a press release: “This Thursday, May 14th at 8PM EST, Live From Out There will host a free performance on the LiveXLive platform to introduce fans to the new platform. Fans can watch on LiveXLive.com and apps, social media channels and its OTT channels on Amazon, Apple TV, Roku and Samsung TVs, desktop and mobile/tablet. The performance will feature Rick Mitarotonda and Peter Anspach of Goose performing a very special acoustic set from their home in Connecticut.”
