While NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series has recently been converted to an at-home presentation, the outlet was sure to share The Free National’s full March 4 performance, recorded before state-enforced social distancing.
In addition to being Anderson .Paak’s touring band, The Free Nationals shared their self-titled debut in late 2019. Of course, .Paak was sure to support the band at their Tiny Desk headlining debut, playing drums on the song “Gidget.”
Other guests include India Shawn on the opening “Beauty & Essex” and “On Sight” as well as Chronixx on the closing “Eternal Light.”
