As a tribute to the late John Prine, Bob Weir shared a video of his & Wolf Bros cover of Prine’s song “Angel From Montgomery.”
The performance took place at Nashville, Tenn.’s Ryman Auditorium. Weir and his band were joined by Emmylou Harris for the performance of “Angel From Montgomery.”
“Via con Dios, my friend John Prine. The light you’ve shown will outlive us all,” Weir wrote when sharing the video.
The entire show is also available to watch on YouTube, as it was streamed via nugs.tv. During the show, Weir & Wolf Bros welcomed not only Harris, but also Margo Price, Jamey Johnson, Buddy Miller and more.

April 8, 2020 at 5:43 pmAfter all these years going to amazing shows and hanging out with the coolest community I clearly missed the mark…instead of gravitating toward kindness and gratefulness culminating in loving relationships I should have focused on becoming more opinionated and bitter so I could relate to and hang out more with people like ?…. Thanks ? I’m going to sleep so much better tonight now that I’ve figured it all out!
