On Mar. 27 at 9 p.m. ET, JB Smoove will host the first episode of YOU ARE HERE. The inaugural installment will feature Billy Idol, Melissa Etheridge, Skim Marley and David Shaw of The Revivalists. The show will stream each Friday night.

“To provide entertainment and foster unity in these challenging times, the world’s first weekly stay-at-home digital variety show, YOU ARE HERE, will begin airing tonight,” read a press release. “The show will be hosted by JB Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and features a remarkable lineup of musicians, actors, comedians, and more.”

“An unprecedented global streaming benefit event, YOU ARE HERE will kick off with a diverse roster of special guest artists, recorded at their homes exclusively for this broadcast,” continued the release. “Among those contributing will be Billy Idol, Melissa Etheridge, Skip Marley, and David Shaw from The Revivalists, alongside further guests and other surprise performers. NPR’s acclaimed daily news/talk show, 1A, will provide stories about moments where people are coming together in the face of our national health crisis.”

“Most importantly, funds raised by YOU ARE HERE will go towards the causes and organizations best situated to mitigate the worst effects of the pandemic, including the National Domestic Workers Alliance, GiveDirectly.org, and the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation Announces COVID19 Crisis Relief Fund,” concluded the release.
