On Friday, March 20, Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn will go live on Facebook to serenade the virtual masses in a new series dubbed Banjo House Lockdown.
“Life without other people is fine, but life without banjos would be intolerable!” Fleck joked via a press statement. “So we’re gonna sing and play our banjos to keep everyone from going batty.”
Additionally, to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, Fleck and Washburn released a version of the Irish traditional “Molly Malone.”
Tune in to Banjo House Lockdown via Facebook Live on March 20 at 7 p.m. ET.

March 17, 2020 at 10:24 pmI just want to thank all the musicians who r doing this. Coronavirus sucks, but the fact we can watch live shows while much of the country grinds to a halt is nothing short of awesome. Just a great side of our scene, thanks again to you amazing beautiful people doing this for us!
