On March 11, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Goose flocked to the Madison Theater in Covington, Ky. for a fun, weeknight offering that included a sit-in by PPPP’s Jeremy Schon on two Goose originals.
In the midst of Goose’s opening set, which included an opening “Time To Flee” and a cover of Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” Schon jumped onstage for the end of “Arrow” and the full jam into “Butter Rum.”
Later, PPPP offered two full sets bookended by an opening “Pop Off”> “Funk E Zekiel” jam and a “Yo Soy Fiesta” encore.
During the show, the band also offered newer originals like “Paperboy” and a rockin’ cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog.”
