Phish’s newest LivePhish archival release, set to drop on March 12, will be the band’s Nov. 12, 1994 show at The Mac Center at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

The release was announced by Phish’s archivist Kevin Shapiro on SiriusXM’s Phish Radio. The station has been playing the show on the air as a preview for the release, with the final one set for Mar. 10 at 7 p.m. ET. The preview will be hosted by Shapiro himself.

Interestingly, high quality recordings of a good deal of the show have already been released by Phish. The first five songs of set two – which includes the incredible “Down With Disease” -> “Have Mercy” -> “Down With Disease” sequence – was included as filler on Phish’s official release of their Dec. 1, 1994 show from Salem, Ore. Additionally, a soundboard recording of the “Harry Hood” has circulated since 2009, when Shapiro played it as part of his “Phish: From The Archives” radio broadcast at Bonnaroo.

However, the full-show release will give fans a chance to listen to high-quality recordings of the rocking first set, which opens with a stellar “Runaway Jim” > “Foam” combo and contains searing renditions of “Maze” and “Chalk Dust Torture.” Furthermore, listeners can hear the band’s acoustic bluegrass section of the show, which included “Old Home Place,” “Nellie Kane” and a take on Boston’s “Foreplay/Long Time.”
